Sneem DramSoc is an amateur dramatic society based in Sneem, County Kerry, Ireland.

As it says at the top of the page, we're an amateur dramatic society based in Sneem, County Kerry, providing annual entertainment to a catchment area from Kenmare to Caherciveen along the south side of the Iveragh Peninsula.
Small, but beautifully formed, our productions run every summer through July and August, and occasionally into September, and are performed in the refurbished Sneem Community Centre behind St. Michael's Church.
We also give a one-off performance every year of a short piece during the annual Sneem International Storytelling Festival.
Sneem Dramsoc's main 2016 production, and our contribution to the 2016 Sneem International Storytelling Festival is Faith Healer.
FAITH HEALER is a play primarily about faith although, like other Friel plays, it also deals with the relativity of truth. Faith here may be religious or secular, a faith in the power of human love transcending human weakness, or the ebbing and flowing faith of the artist in his creative powers.
The performance for the 2016 International Storytelling Festival took place in the Sacré Cœur Restaurant, Sneem, on Sunday, 13th. November, and there were two performances in the Carnegie Centre, Kenmare, on 18th. and 19th. November.
